Anchorwoman Karmen Johnson on the set for the St Louis Video of Historical News Network.  Ms. Johnson is the spokesperson for the educational narrowcasting series for the web and DVD syndication.  The first series on slavery pays homage to the heros and heroines of abolition in the 19th century. The first clip of SlaveGirl reached over 200 hits on YouTube in one weekend, and double that the following week. Viewership continues to rise and a marketing plan has been prepared to distribute the DVD's nationwide.

Rebecca Hirschfeld, delivers an on-camera message for web designers and webmasters to "Go Green." We are perfecting video streaming for the web, quality with speed. The green screen enables the video background to be keyed out and then presented over the HTML. This enables the web spiders to continue to see keywords, phrases and all the body copy for enhanced search engine optimization. The background can also be changed to virtually any background desired.

This studio video was shot on a green screen, edited in Premiere and then encoded with flash. Note the alpha channel has been made transparent, and would then normally appear to be a black background, but for purposes here, we made the background white to simulate a background that was transparent for the web video to show properly.
